Sambhar Masala
How to Use? Soak 100gms of tuar dal or arhar dal in water for about half an hour. Add beans, brinjal, pumpkin, onions to the dal and boil the mixture. Then add two table spoons of tamrind paste. Stir it and add salt and chilly powder to taste. Then add a a table spoon full of Shyam Sambhar Masala.
For Garnish Take a pan and add two tea spoons of oil. When the oil becomes hot, add I whole chilly, ¼ methi, ½ spoon rai or mustard seeds, kadhi patta, and heeng. Put this garnish on the previously prepared concoction for a lipsmaking sambhar dish.
